THE BROAD STREET STEAM LAUNDRY, Palmerston North.

The progressive development of every branch of domestic industry within recent years is in no way more apparent than in the operations of laundry work in which ■ the \ various processes of cleansing by mechanical means have now reached a stage of perfection little short of marvellous, as compared with the crude, and often wasteful methods prevailing in former years. This beneficial improvement is very amply exemplified in tho Broad Street Steam Laundry, conducted so successfully by Mr. J. Bainford and his Capable staff. It is the recognised leading laundry in Palmerston North, and lives up to its reputation for first-class workmanship. The proprietor has had many years Of practical experience in the trade, and being an engineer by profession he is in a position to regulate to a nicety all the intricate parts associated with the steam plant which, in the hands of more incompetent men, could be the means of marring an otherwise flourishing business. Mr. Sainford is a real hard grafter seekirg to place this big. business undertaking on a suitable footing for the needs of Palmerston North. What about giving him your patronage!
