(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Ist November. In the Police Court to-da/ George Anthony Silva was sentenced to two months' imprisonment for assaulting a tram conductor. It was stated that the accused played in a football match at which there had been twenty-five gallons of beer and the offence was committed on his way home. The conductor was ( knocked about to an extent that necessitated medical treatment.
