ARGUMENT OVER A LEASE

Argument was heard before Mr. Justice Reed in the Supreme Court to-day concerning a lease. The plaintiff was Annie Jane Eliza Oates, of Greytown, and the defendant was Daniel Jensen, of South Carterton. The point at issue was whether a lease, dated 15th September, 1905, and which provided for a lease of 21 years "from 15th September next," commenced in 1905 or in 190 G.

Mr. A. W. Blair appealed for the plain, tiff, iind Mr. K. Kennedy for the defendant.
