Precious, tho first to work, did five furlongs in Iniin 2 3-ssec. Nincompoop led Lucindn, and Haze over half a lailo up tho back in 52 1-5 sec. Front Bank, with a mate over the lost six, galloped nine furlongs in lmin 59 sec. Broadmoor beat Scrambler in a halfmile up the back in 52see. Shirley took 50sec for the last four of five furlongs. Moorland sprinted half a mile in 49 sec. Reremoana, with a big weight up, beat Lady Desmond over six furlongs in lmin 17sec. Centrepiece, with a mate, covered tlio last part of seven furlongs in lmin 29 2-ssec. Carnot galloped four furlongs in 50 sec. . Clarinda beat Kapine, with Beacon Light and Desert Glow two lengths away, and Kalakaua beaten off, in a gallop over a mile and a quarter in 2min llsec, the last mile taking lmin 43 2-ssec. Beacon Light carried the most weight. Jarrcticrro beat Tarleton over a mile in lmin 44 3-sscc. Phaola beat David Garrick, Footfall, and Lucky Days over a mile in lmin 44 2-ssec. Glentruin and Sot Sail wore together at the end of six furlongs, tho last five taking lmin 2 2-ssec. The two-year-olds Jericho, Glad Light, and Rigolctto finished in that order at the end of half a mile in 50 l-ssec. Btarflight just beat Bolero over half a mile in 49 2-ssec. Lieinius and Young Lochinvar beat Mimetic over six furlongs in lmin 16 2-uscc. ' Full Swing ran a mile and a quarter in 2mm 11 2-ssec, last milo taking lmin 44 2-uscc. Count Cavour, with Countersign as a mate over tho first six furlongs, and Violet 11. over the last seven, ran a mile and a quarter in 2min 11 2-ssce, the last mile in lmin. 45 2-ssec. Sayonara went better than Blnck Cruiser over four hurdles. Kangisarto jumped six hurdles alone, ,'but seemed sore. , Booster was going easily alongside Brown Lady over half a mile in 51scc. Gooscstep ran six furlongs in lmin 20 3-ssec. Assurance and !feho galloped seven furlongs in lmin 30sec. Margaret Birney covered six furlongs in lmin 15 l-ssec, Finora taking lmin 15 3-ssec over a similar course. Mireusonta and Piuthair had easy work on the sand. Battlement whs given lliree-quartcr pace work. Pink Note, Pink Terrace, Comic Song, and Coastguard arrived from the South last night. Fool's Paradise, Buoyant, Jemidar, Santiago, Royal Cores, Killocra, Vesperus, Commendation, Mime, Cimabiie, High Pitch, Scatown, Avola, Vaward, Sovena, Hynanna, Cosmetic, Kcvcl, Many Colours, Alyson, Anthouie, Inferno, Tanadees, Grand Knight, and Nadarino arrived by this morning's steamer.
