FIRE AT TAITA
■A, si;:-ronmo(l house, 7.'! years old, the property of Mr. A. .1. Harris, Martinborough, situated lit Taita, and occupied by Mr. N. ii. Hatley and his wife and two children, was totally destroyed by fire on Sunday evening at about 11 o'clock. Mr. Ba'tlcy was awakened by the roar of the fire, and found his bedroom blazing. He aroused his wife and chilrlrcii, who just managed to escape in their ' ni'»hl* iittive.
