PARAMOUNT THEATRE.
There are laughter and tears, but very few o'E the latter, in Colleen Moore's latest success by First National, "Ella Cinders," which is now screening at the Paramount Theatre each vevening. An adaptation" of the story of Cinderella and her Prince Charming, "Ella Cinders" strikes a now note of humour; and Colleen Moors is completely at home in tho stellar role, which shows the difficulties of breaking into the movies. How sho finally breaks into a scene after being chased by a lion is one of many amusing'features of an exceedingly amusing film, and when the iceman turns out to be somebody else, the modern Cinderella's happiness is complete. The programme includes a Gaumont Graphic, showing the English Soccer Cup final, a scenic of forest fires in Canada, a Pathe Review, and a splendid "Felix the Cat" cartoon, while the Paramount Orchestra, under Mr. li. _-• Caulton, plays its usual high-class incidental music.
