STEAMER'S ROUGH PASSAGE,
(By Telegraph.)
(Special to "The Evening Post.")
AUCKLAND, This Day.
Stormy weather caused the British steamer Strathlorne, 2803 tons, to run short Of coal on her voyage from Nauru Island to Lyttelton, and at midday she arrived, unexpectedly at Auckland to replenish her supply. In ordinary circumstances the Strathlorne would have made the voyage in from thirteen or fourteen days. On her arrival here on the seventeenth day she still has a small quantity of coal in her bunkers.
