RABBITER DROWNED

MAS.CERTON, 2'Bth October,
Alfred Halj, a rabbiter, single (aged 34), employed, on the Waiteko station on the East Coast, was found drowned yesterday ac.-ternoon. The body was in a decompose*! state, and death apparently occurred three weeks ago. Deceased was in tlhe habit of making prolonged excursions into the back-country for rabbits, anitl consequently he was not missed. Deceased's parents reside at Hastings.
