IDLE MINERS IN LANCASHIRE,

(Sydney Sun Cable.) LONDON, 14th October. Two thousand idle miners came in conflict with the police at Femberton, Lancashire, where 400 men resumed work on llth October. The crowd jefused to disperse, and the police charged, using their batons. Several were injured and many arrested.
