The. fourth Manawatu Jersey slum- and •■ale was held to-day, there being 77 animal, from the Muiuivatti and Horoivlientia Jersey Clubs. Hubs showing, quality "'ere in good demand, but poorer animals were neglected, 'there was a keen demand for heifers. Mr. I!. L. Horn (Levin) had an entry of Hi animals, which averaged .COS apiece. The (op price for tho sale'(l.so guineas) was obtained for a heifer. Kuku Countess, bought by Wright, Stephenson and Co. I'm- eximrt. a heifer by the same breeder.
