PALMERSTON NORTH, This Day Iho annual Manawatu Jersey, Bull, and Hoifei^Show sale was commenced this morning-. Thoro was fairly good competition, l-'ew lots wero passed, and up to 1 o'clock the top price- paid was 97 guineas for a heifer named Kuku Nella, on account of Mr. R. L. 1-foni, of Ohau. The purchaser -wns Mr. A. C. Smith, of Otorohanga.
