HATRED OF HOHENZOLLERNS

SCENES IN PRUSSIAN DIET.

(United Press Association.—Copyright.) BEBLIN, 12th October.

When the Hohenzollern Settlement Bill was read a second time in the Prussian Diet, Communist members called the Hohcnzollerns a gang of criminals, and tho Diet was the dog fetching what they had ordered. One insulting interjeetor was excluded, while others hurled missiles at the Democrat leader, Herr Falck. Communists continued to cause uproar, and two more were ejected, and the noisy galleries were cleared. A Communist member, Herr Caspar, mounted the Speaker's desk and hurled objects at the Nationalists, but was forcibly carried out, and the sitting suspended. | When the Diet was reopened the Pre- | sidont announced that he intended to take energetic measures for tho suppression of disorder. Herr Falck declared that there was no reason to fear the ex-Kaiser's return, which the law safeguarding the Republic rendered impossible. Wild scenes occurred in the evening, and the debate was concluded under police protection. Communists broke up the sitting five times, bombarding their opponents with inkwells, books, tables, and chairs. The VicePregident (Herr Garnisch) was hit by an "inkwell and bespattered from' head to foot, and also was injured. There were several free fights, in which three were injured. The police arrested ten Communists, whom Herr Garnisch. is prosecuting.
