Some wonderful scenery is shown in "Thel r-Limited Mail," a special attraction to be screened to-morrow :at the : Empress Theatre.V..-?-The heart of the-Royal Gorge was chosen for the central setting of the pictiu '-, and the, results are said to be wonv d rful. The film is.the picturisation .of■ the old-time melodrama!•. of' Elmer; Yance,' and Monte Blue heads a 'strong-cast: He has the character of a husky young en.ginee'r, and the scenes in which he is.seen j in the cab of his engine are very iine. The second feature is "A Social Celebrity," the story.of a small town in.which a barber ■plays the part of "a'count, but eventually returns to his calling to find love waiting for him. An added attraction will be Mr. Preboni Hanson, who has a tenor voice of remarkable purity and range, and an extensive operatic repertoire gained .from, wide: experience in the Continental theatres. ■ He specialises ,in ; .English ballads,. which he. invests' with'simple 'charm and meaning. . Among his gpngs.-will be Tosti's "Good-bye," and "La Donna c Mobile," ,bpth.of.which.prove the strength of his emotional arid histrionic powers.
