WAR MEMORIAL CARILLON
BROOKLYN, VOGELTOWN, AND MORNINGTON SUBSCRIPTIONS.
The following amounts, subscribed by the residents of Brooklyn, Vogeltown, and Mornington, towards the Wellington War Memorial Carillon, are acknowledged by Mr. G. W. Slade, on behalf of the committee for the district:—Opening list No. 1, £7 ss; per' Mr. J. Staples, £8 Us 6d; per Mr. P. W. Russell, £5 ss; per Vogeltown East Electors' Association, £3 17s; per Mr. A. B. France, £2 ss; per St. Matthew's Tennis Club, £7 10s; per Messrs. Eead and Eubenstein, £20 4s 6d; per Mr. W. Hatch, £5 12s 6d; per Messrs. Goldsmith and Slade, £20 9s 6d. Total to date, £87. Outstanding lists and donations Bhould be sent in this week to enable the committee to announce tho final result of the effort at a social dance to be held at St. Matthew's Hall.
