ROTARY LUNCHEON
MASTERTON CLUB ENTEBTAINED,
Masterfcori Botarians were entertain ed by the Wellington Botary Club today.
Eotarian E. W. Hunt, who presided, extended a welcome to Botarian W. E. Herbert, who recently returned from Australia. "Wo like to have him back," he said, "and we feel sure that he will be glad to be with Wellington Botary again. We hope that 'Botarian Will' has had a good holiday and a happy time."
Returning thanks, Rotarian Herbert conveyed to Wellington Rotarians the warm wishes of tho Sydney Rotary Club and. f ellow-Rotarians tkcre.
Rotarian Hunt also welcomed the Masterton visitors,: and said he believed that Masterton had one of the brightest Rotary Clubs in New Zealand, That was shown by the fact that 21 Masterton Rotarians were present out of a membership of 32.
On behalf of the'visitors, Rotarian Utterly said that now the Masterton Club was beginning.to practice the service side of Rotary and to know what it meant. He thanked the Wellington Club heartily for having brought the movement to Masterton, and for the efforts made in connection with its establishment there.
. In the unavaidable absence of Rotarian D. A. Ewen, addresses on "Rotarian Education" were given by Rotaarians A. Roberts and D. Smith.
