PURDY OUTPOINTS M'KNIGHT.

CAMBRIDGE, This Day. The initial tournament of the newlyformed Cambridge Boxing Association, was held last evening, and proved highly successful. The accommodation was fully taxed, 800 being present. The principal feature of the all-round programme was the professional contest between Charles Purdy (Ost ll^lb), of Auckland, and Nelson M'Knight (lOst 31b), of Hamilton, for a purse o£ £100. The contest went the full ten three-minute rounds, Purdy scoring a well-merited win ga points,
