FATAL INJURIES

While painting one of the oil tanks at Miraniur yesterday, nn employee of the Union Steam Ship Company, John Ballard, ;i labourer, living at 38, Devonshire road, fell, and was admitted to the Hospital suffering from injuries to the stomach and to the wrist. He succumbed to his injuries at 6.50 o'clock last evening. Deceased was a married man, aged 47. An inquest will <bo held.
