GOLF IN AUSTRALIA
(United Press Association.—Copyright.) ADELAIDE, 27th August. Ivo Whitton won the open golf championship of Australia, leading tho field by threo strokes, with a score of 297. Bufus Stewart was runner-up.
Ivo Whitton. won the Australian open championship in 1912 and 1913, and 1 tho amateur championship of the Common-, wealth in 1922 and 1953.
At the Enfield Police Court recently five members of- the public watched five Magistrates deal with five cases in five minutes, five reporters were present, and five policemen gave evidence.
