Ivo Whitton. won the Australian open championship in 1912 and 1913, and 1 tho amateur championship of the Common-, wealth in 1922 and 1953.

At the Enfield Police Court recently five members of- the public watched five Magistrates deal with five cases in five minutes, five reporters were present, and five policemen gave evidence.
