THE BIBLE IN CHINA
Many people in New Zealand will remember with pleasure meeting Mr. George T. B. Davis, director of the Million Testaments for China Campaign. "Writing from Philadelphia to a friend in Wellington, Mr. Davis states that owing to the generous response on all hands he has already received sufficient funds to enable provision to be made to distribute half a million Testaments among the Chinese. He is confident the necessary help to permit his objective to be attained will be forthcoming. Mr. Davis spent some time with the army led by Marshal Feng Yu-hsiang, a Christian man whoso work for the uplifting of his fellowmen is described as wonderful, though hostilo critics have heaped much abuso upon him, and accused him of being a secret agent of the Bolsheviks. M», Davis expresses deep gratitud for help received in and from New Zealand, and desires to be held in kindly re membrance by the many friends h* mado in the Dominion.
