AUCKLAND, This Day. Tho Auckland City Council rescinded a resolution to purchase 600 tons of tram mils nnd fishplates from the United States at £6569, nnd decided to accept tho tender ot £9097 of an English firm. Mr. T. Bloodworth opposed this course, and h»s girea notice of motion that tho latest rosolutio» bo rescinded.
