R.S.A. GOLD BADGE TO BE PRE-

SENTED.

Final arrangements have now been made for the presentation of the gold badge o£ the Returned Soldiers' Association to the Right Hon. the Prime Minister, Mnjor J. G. Coatos, M.C., at 8 o'clock to-night in the Y.W.C.A. Hall, Boulcott-.3t. The presentation will be made by Colonel G. T. Hall, president of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association, other speakers being the Mayor and Mr. W. Perry {vice-presi-dent of the Isew Zealand ltetuvncd Soldiers' Association).

All returned soldiers, whether members cf the association or not, avo-cordially invited to attend, and are requested to wear their medals a.ttl decorations. The guard of honour will be furnished by the Technical College Cadet Company, under Captain R. H. Xifnmo. The Prime Minister, accompanied by Major-General R. Young, G.0.G., will inspect the guard of honour. The Wellington Caledonian Society's Pipe Band, under Pipe-Major Comrie Smith, will play the guard from the Garrison Hall, Buckle street, to the Y.W.C.A. Hall. The route will be by Cviba and Manners streets.

A first-class musical programme has been prepared, well-known performers including Messrs. H. E. Wilson, Brockcnshirc, Edwards, Lavin, and tlie Aeolian Quartette.

In response to a number of inquiries fro7n ladies, the committee greatly regrets that, through being unable to secure a larger hall for the occasion, this particular function is restricted to returned soldiers.
