NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. fyTOTICE is hereby given that at a Spe- ■*■* cial Meeting of the Upper Hutt Borough Council held on the sisth day of August, 1926, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council, to be held on TUESDAY, the SEVENTH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1926, at 8 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Main road, Upper Hutt. RESOLUTION. "That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 80 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Upper Hutt Borough Council, hereby makes by way of Special Order, under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and in pursuance of and exercise of every other authority or power enabling it in.that behalf, to establish a Special Rating Area in the West Ward ot the Borough of Upper Hutt as defined in the schedule and a separate rate of l^d in the £1 on the unimproved rateable value of all the property included therein." NOTICE is hereby given that the Hutt River Board, at a Special Meeting to be held in the Board's Office, Town Hall, Lower Hutt, at 4 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, Ist SEPTEMBER, 192G, will make and levy rates for the year beginning Ist April, 1926, and ending 31st March, 1927, under the provisions of "The River Boards Act, 1908," "The Hating Act, 1908," "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913," and'the amendments thereof. It is intended to make and levy the following rates: — GENERAL RATE: i Upon the Capital Rateable Value of all property within the Hutt River District (for maintenance works and for the general purposes of the Board), a UNIFORM GENERAL RATE of one-thirteenth of a penny (l-13d) in the pound.
