BUDAPEST, 24th August.

The Appeal Court confirmed the judgment of the Lower "Court on all points iv the case of the franc forgeries. The'sentences on Gerde, adviser of the Geographical Institute, and Raba, ex-secretary to Prince Windischgraotz, were reduced from two years to eighteen months and from eighteen months to a year's impi-jsonme:it respectively.
