The Shaw, Savill Company advises that the Athenin is to sail at daybreak on Sunday, the 29th August, for Southampton and London, via Panama.

The Shaw, Savill steamer Pakeha arrived at Lyttelton to-day, and Is to sail finally from tjiore on tile 30th August with general cargo for Montevideo and London.

DCV.'KY FROM PACIFIC COAST.

The Sway up lloyfc steamer Dewey, which arched at Auckland on Monday, brought ft cargo of TiiO.nOPffc of lumber, 210,000 cases of oil. ami a quantity of general cargo, which was Itiiideil nt Portland, Vancouver. Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. It is for discluirci- nt Auckland, Wellington, Tlmaru, and Duncdiu. The vessel sailed from San Pedro on the 26th July, and called at Honolulu on

isth August for oil fuel. Fins weather prevailed for theflrst two weeks of the voyage, and afterwards continuous frech south-west winds and rough seas. Before being commissioned for her present voyage the Dewey was engaged in the Oriental service, taking cargo from Portland, Oregon, to Japan and China. She is owned by the United States Shipping Board, and was built at Washington In 1919. She is an oil-burner, and her gross tonnage la 5G30 tons. Captain G. Hagberg is in command.

The Huddart-Parker steamer Ullmaroa is to leave Wellington at noon to-morrow for Sydney. She is berthed at No. 1, north, Queen's Wharf.
