SHIPMENTS OF MEAT FROM SOUTH AMERICA.

Tho New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has received a cablegram from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended 10th August, 1928, from Argentine and Uruguay:—lßo,loo quarters chilled beef, 19,835 quarters frozen beef, 55,350 carcasses frozen mutton, 60,554 carcasses frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to tho Continent of Europe during tho same period totalled 153,00 ft quarters frozen beof, 5839 carcasses frozen .mutton, 1070 carcasses frozen lamb.
