Commenting editorially on tho Hawkes Bay-Canterbury Rugby match, "The Star" suggests that the refusal by' the Bay to take the Shield South would be interpreted as an indication that the Bay propose sending a second fifteen on tour, which would bo poor compliment to their Southern hosts..
