STRAND THEATRE.

The star attraction at the Strand Theatre, commencing to-morrow, is Reginald Denny and Laura La Plante in "Skinner's Dress Suit." Denny, in the role of Skinner, gives one of the best performances of his long and varied career. His woebegone smile makes him ideally suited for the difficult part. Laura La Plante, as "Honey," the golden-haired wife of the underpaid bookkeeper, finds her way into the heart. She has that cuddly cuteness in her make-up that is a triumph of personality. The second feature, "A Fool and his Money," starring Madge Bellamy, is a story of a fortune - dropped into the lap of a romantic young writer, and the first thing he did was to buy a castle in Europe that he had never seen. The supports include a comedy, gazette, and scenic.
