COLLEGE TOURNAMENT

TJio annual tournament between the first fifteens of Wellington College, Wanganui Collegiate School, Christ's College, and Nelson College, is to be held at Christchurch on Saturday and Monday next. The Wellington College team was granted permission by thp Wellington Bugby Union last evening to make the trip. Mr. J. N. Millard is accompanying the team as managercoaeli. The Wellington College team to take part in the College tournament at Christehurch has been selected as follows: —Full-back, Black; three-quarters, Tait, Te Moana, Gully; five-eighths, Bamson, Hardie; half-back, Gentry; wing-forward, Curtis; forwards, Cathcart, Froethy, Gifford, Blacker, Tipping, Kelly, Donald; emergencies, Smith, Burns (backs), Howard and Bobertson (forwards).

The tournament is to commonee on Saturday next, the fixtures for that day being:—

Christ's College v. Wellington College.

Nelson College v. Wanganui Collegiate School.

On Monday the two winning teams on tho first day will meet, and tho losers will meet losers.

The Wellington, Nelson, and Wanganui teams will leave Wellington to-mor-row night.
