SEQUEL TO "JOY-RIDING" CASES

A sequel to the recent cases of "joyriding" in the city was heard in the Magistrate's Court to-day, when Bobert Seymour James, Basil Frederick Baillie William Hugh Urquhart, and Askew John Bobertson, all of whom are at present undergoing Borstal treatment were charged with breaking and entering the shop of Charlotte Caroline Buckley, at Paraparaumu, by night, and stealing goods and money of a total value of £12. After evidence showing that the offence had been committed during one of the youths' escapades in a stolen car had beou given, tho accused all pleaded guilty and were committed to the Supremo Court for sentence.
