TO MEET AUCKLAND
WELLINGTON TEAM SELECTED.
The following team has been selected by Messrs. A. J. Griffiths, A. Wilson, and C. Ramsden to represent Wellington against Auckland in the match at Athletic Park next Saturday:— Full-back: Taylor (Athletic). Three-quarters: Sutton (Athletic), Grenfell (Old Boys), Svenson (Athletic). Five-eighths: M. Nicholls (Petone), Corner (Petone). Half-back: Bramwcll (Old Boys). Wing-forward: Jessnp (Poneke). Hookers: O'Regan (University), Warden (Petone). Lock: Moffitt (Oriental). Side of scrum: Tyree (Athletic), Edgar (Athletic). Back of scrum: L. A. Thomas (Petone), E. Barry (Marist). Emergencies: Backs, M'Kay (Athletic), Ta-it (Athletic); forwards, Burns (University), Sly (Oriental). The team is to assemble at the Poneke gymnasium at 8 o'clock to-morrow evening. With the exception, of Corner and Burns, all tlie chosen players were members of the team which went to Hawkes Bay. Corner was selected in the team for the Shield match, but did not make the trip to Napier.
