The first Test match between the Auckland 'Varsity team and Fiji resulted in a
draw, 8-alI. For 'Varsity Stewart scored an unconverted try and Dunn a try which N. Jenkins converted. For Suva, M. Gray scored two tries, one being converted by Freeman. In the first half play waa even, but in the second half was in favour of Fiji. The Governor and a big crowd were present. All the members of the team :ire well.
