PRISONER RECAPTURED

(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") AUCKLAND, This Day. A chaso over the hills in the Kaipara district during the past few days resulted in the capture at Port Albert of a Maori named Tua Taaka, who escaped from custody at Maungaturoto on Sunday evening. He made for the Maroretu Hill country, and catching a horse put a further distance between himself and his pursuers. The constables, who promptly took up tl;o chase, were equally energetic, and effected a strategic movement by following converging roads, with the result that they centred on Tua on the Port Albert wharf and placed him once more under arrest.
