MASTEBTON, Tht« Sky. A motor-car proceeding to Napief yesterday afternoon overturned on ■ the road some miles north 'of Masterton. The car contained' Inspector' Ritfthie, Stanley Kay, and Mr. D.: T. Todd,; of the Wellington, staff. of the Alliance Insurance Company. Mr. Kay had-af,col-larbone broken,.but tho other,two pagsengers were not injured. ■ The ear-was badly damaged. Inspector Kay lives at Lower Hutt, and is at present in ■ the Masterton Hospital. ."';'.'•
Details have reached Wellington of an accident to a • motor;car -at M'Kay'i Crossing,, Packakar.iki,. last night. <-It appears that; the,car. wpnt through .the railing at the side of the.-bridg? and fell on its side- in the ; creek below.,; It was not known how the driver ; or,-the occupants of <tho .machine' fared, r : but there is no mention of their having been injured. This accident is the. third, of its kind at the, same bridge.this week.
