The very latest in otor caravans, a "flatavan," has been designed and built to the special order of the late Maharajah Scindla of Qwalior, and has been shipped to India. Nearly £3000 has been spent on the elaborate fittings, and within the two compartments which are connected like an express train, sixteen persons can dine and sleep. The interior resembles a first-class cabin on a liner, the sleeping bunks being turned into divans during the day. The picture shows the exterior of the "flatavan," with the two compartments "joined together.
