STOLEN MOTOR-CARS
OMi: VEHICLE FOUND BURNT.
{By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, 13th August. On Wednesday night a large six-cylinder motor-car owned by Mr. W. J. Parker, Schofield street, Grey Lynn, was removed from hia garage. The car, which was used on the Mission Bay service, contained nine gallons of benzine. Its size prevented the carage doors from being closed, but it wao locked with a Yale key, and the benzine wa« turned off. This morning the car was found burnt in May^s road, Mount Roskill. It is not definitely known whether the car was insured. Another which was stolen was the property of Mr. Ivan Black, of Matainata. Mr. Black left hjs car outside the Royal Hotel, where he is staying, at 8.25 o'clock last evening, and on returning for it three minutes later he found it had disappeared. Previously in the evening a globe was rtolen from one of the front lamps. So far the car has not been traced,
