ROTORUA FISHING LICENSES.
A short Bill amending the Fisheries Act was introduced under charge of the Minister of Internal Affairs yesterday, giving power to make regulations for the issue of special licenses to fish for, trout and perch in,the Botorua Acclimatisation District. The Minister explained that this acclimatisation society got no revenue from fishermen who took out licenses in other districts, and the Bill was intended to empower them to make a charge for fishing in their area. .
