FIRES
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") . .TE AWAMTJTTJ, This Day. A four-roomed dwelling in Ohaupo road, just outside the borough, owned by Miss Forkert, was totally destroyed by fire at midnight. The occupants, B. Reginald Clark and family, had to make a hurried exit. Tho insurances in tho State Office are: Dwelling £,175, furniture £150. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TAUMAEUNUI, This Day. Tire broke out in the United Friendly Societies' Hall last night. The brigade confined tho fire to the upper portion of tho building, and quickly arrested it, and tho damage was not extensive.
