EMPRESS THEATRE.
"A Broadway Butterfly," a Warner Bros.' classic, is scrooning at the Empress Theatre to-night. There is a lure about Broadway, with its moth-attracting lights, and Irene Astaire, just up from the country, found that dancing her way to fame was not as easy as she imagined it to be when in the quiet precincts of her small town. Dorothy Devore and Louise Fazonda are the stars. In "Womanhandled," Richard Dix again demonstrates his burlesque talents in the role of a rich young man who goes West to make a man of himself. There are good supports, and excellent music by the Empres3 Orchestra, under Mr. M. Dixon.
