NEARER TO AUSTRALIA.
(United Press Association.—Copjariqht.) (Reuter'i Telegram.) SINGAPORE, 31st July. Cobham, in his flight to Australia, has left for Muntok.
Muntok is the capital of tho island of Banka, off the south-east coast of Sumatra, about halfway betweem Singapore and Batavia, Java.
