WELLINGTON B DEFEAT NELSON

The Wellington B team were always in the lead in their game with the Nelson eleven, and their victory, by five goals to one, was well deserved. The visitors played a clean, open game, but were outclassed by the local men, although the latter showed a marked tendency to delay in passing the ball. , T. Watchman, on Wellington's left wing, was the most outstanding player on the field, and scored two goals iv fine style. Sykes (2) and F. Lindop were Wellington's other scorers, while Nimmo, who replaced ac injured Nelson forward, secured the visitors' only goal.
