SOUTH-WESTERN AUSTRALIA.
(United Preu Association.—Copyright.) PERTH, 30th July.
The south-western portion of the State is in the throes of a flood unparalleled in the history of the State. Continuous rains for three weeks culminated in a violent storm which severely damaged the railways from Perth to Albany, and as far west as Northam. Communication has been completely disorganised. In many places six feet of water is over the lines. It will be several days before communication is restored.
