The Athens correspondent of the "Daily Express" states that General Pangalos (President of Greece) has issued a proclamation to the people accusing his political adversaries of an attempt to assassinate him, and has arrested ex-Premiers Michalacopulos and Kaphandaris and other prominent leaders, and banished them to an island in the Aegean.
