ACCIDENTS IN WELLINGTON

While endeavouring to avoid a mo-tor-car in Wallace street early on Sunday morning, another motor-car, with four passengers, swerved, mounted the footpath, crashed against a telegraph pole, and stopped after breaking a fence. Fortunately, the -mishap caused no serious personal injury, but Mr. Albert Steer, a single man, aged 35 years, of Sutherland road, Lyall Bay, had his leg fractured. He was taken to the Hospital. _________________
