Germany is again in the throes of a political crisis, the result of a meeting of the Socialist Party in the Eeichstag deciding to vote agains the Government's compromise Bill in regard to the property of ex-rulers. As the Eight parties are also opposed to, the measure it cannot possibly obtain the required two-thirds majority.

The Government has intimated.that if the Reichstag does not pass the Bill it will resign or ask for a dissolution.
