BASKETBALL

The final matches of the senior and intermediate seven-a-side championships- will be played at Nowtown School to-morrow. In order that all players may have an opportunity of witnessing these games, the ordinary fixtures have been postponed. There Is every indication that the finals will provide good exhibitions of basketball, and in both grades great Interest and keenness Is being taken with regard to the outcome of the matches. The games have been arranged as follow:— 2 p.m., Y.W.C.A. v. Wesley; 2.15 p.m., Technical College Old Girls' A v. Y.W.C.A. Swifts; 2.30 p.m., Gilby's v. 'Varsity: 2.45 p.m., Wellington Girls' College B v. Knox; 3 p.m., senior finals; 3.15 p.m., intermediate finals.

The vacant courts will be available for teams who yrish to arrange friendly matches.
