MAKARA COUNTY COUNCIL
« — The monthly meeting of the Makara County. Council was held to-day, when there were present Messrs. E. Windlcy (chairman), H. J. Mouagh.au, M. S. G. Monk, Dunbar Sloane, R. AY. Bothamley, R. G. Mextcd, D. Prosser, L. C. Bryant, and AY. L. Beech. It was decided to contribute £200 a year for five yeai-3 towards the cost of the overhead bridge, which it is proposed shall be erected at the Porirua railway crossing. It is estimated that the bridge will cost between £9000 and £10,000.
