BYLAW BREACHES
Breaches of the bylaws were dealt with by Mr. J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M., in tho Magistrate's Court on Tuesday afternoon. Failure to light their vehicles properly resulted in the following motorists being fined: —John Aston, Alexander George Ward, Francis Charles Holmes, Ceorge Bell, £1 each; Eustace Neville Cavaye, Godfrey William Magnus, 15s each; Ernest William Giesen, Edgar Carruthers, Alexander M'Kenzie, Boss | Tait, Walter Philip Hartnell, Harry Hull, Boy Maxwell Muir, Albert H. Collin, Archibald Alfred Armstrong, 10s each. Speeding over intersections cost William Duncan, Harold Shotlander, Lionel Clarence Avery, George Harold Bannister, and Patrick Stubbs Harrison £1 10s each. The following were fined for leaving cars unattended: Albert William Hawley, Foster Brown, junior, Daisy Gibbons,, Krapehuk Wolf, £1 each; Sidoiiy Masdubost, 10s. Dominion Motors, Ltd., were fined 10s for failing to notify the change of ownership of a motor-car. Similarly charged, William Escott was fined ss. For speeding William Norman Rochforc Snow, John Grierson, and Cecilia Stewart were each fined £1 10s and John R. Smith, George Edward Stanyon, and John Trainor were each fined £1 ss. William Wright was fined £1 for a similar offence. Henry Baker was fined 5s for allowing his chimney to catch on fire. Failure to produce drivers' licenses cost Cyril Dentice, Robert Marshall Glennie, and James Charles Montgomery £1 each.' For driving without a driver 'g license Andrew Clifford Smith was fined £1' 10s. Henry Albert Bush was fined 5s for using a car without obtaining an endorsed certificate from the Deputy-Re-gistrar. Similarly charged, Alexander Allen was fined 10s. Charles Richard Goode was fined 10s for failing to notify the change of ownership of a car. Gerald C. Boyes and James Darroch were each ordered to pay Court costs, 7s, for parking cars opposite the entrance of private hotels. For overloading their taxi-cabs, John E. Condren, Paul Walter Harming, Clar- • ence James Hart, and Edward Sandford were each ordered to pay Court costs, ! 7s. '
