For the first time on a Wellington platform the Registering ' Piano accompanied the Gramophone for instrumental and vocal renderings by Mischa Elman and John McCormack. The demonstra- ' tion evoked prolonged applause; indeed, rarely has such enthusiasm [ and appreciation bceen shown by a Wellington audience over a H musical programme. Those present appeared to be amazed at the wonderful qualities of the Gulbransen Registering Piano. , —"The Dominion," 26th March, 1926. "SUPREMELY HUMAN IN CADENCE." ' The feature of the evening was a demonstration of the GIII- < bransen Registering Piano, by Mr. E. F. Wilks, of Sydney. Sitting with eyes closed, one would be convinced, when the new Gulbransen Registering Piano is being played, that a master hand was giving a , wonderful rendition of the music. It is extremely difficult for the listener to realise that the beautiful melodies are the product of a mechanical piano—mechanical only in its action, however, and supremely human in cadence, tone, and expression. , —"Christchurch Press," 15th March, 1926. "ACCOMPANIMENTS FAULTLESSLY RENDERED." A well-known programme illustrated the wonderful adaptability of the Gulbransen for the purpose of accompanying the human voice as well as gramophone records. Several vocal numbers were contributed by Miss Sinclair; who possesses a voice of charming quality, the accompaniments being faultlessly rendered by Mr. Wilks 1 on the Gulbransen,—^'Pictorial News," 26th February, 1926.
