SUPREME COURT SENTENCES
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day.
At the Supreme Court, Mr. Justice Stringer sentenced Albert Edgar Stout on three charges of forgery at Taumarunui to two years' imprisonment on tho expiry of the sentence he is now serving. Stanley Hale Cawte, who stole a motor-car and went to Wellington with an Auckland girl,; appeared on six charges of theft,. and. was sentenced to three years' reformative detention. Eobert Barker, for false pretences and forgery at Morrinsville, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment with lfard labour. Peretahi Iti, for rape at Hora Hora, was sentenced to five years' hard labour. Thomas Dennis, for forgery at Auckland, to two years' reformative detention, and Arthur Julius Theodore Winter Branstead, charged with bigamy, was discharged.
