(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Since yesterday, ,763 men havo signed on the unemployed list, in addition to 150 members of the Amalgama'ed Society of Engineers. A meeting of the unemployed . executive resolved to ask tho Prime Minister to legislate to al-. low local bodies to ■ borrow for urgent works, as in 1922. A telegram from Mr. Coates intimated that twenty men will be employed at Orakei and fifty at Bombay.
